The Spanish Championships of Riding and Dressage Horses “Campeonato de España Doma Clásica Caballos Jóvenes” took place in Murcia from September 21 to 24.
The title in the four-year-old class won the Zackerey/Falsberbo son Zeihar (breeder: Dr. Christina Beuke, Lilienthal), presented by Carlos Bayo Calvo. Third place went to Milow SN by Millennium/Sir Donnerhall (breeder: Nicole Wanning, Schüttorf) with Manuel Pérez Valle. Yeguada Sola Nogales Stud had secured him at the Verden Foal Auction in 2019.
Two Secret sons decided the championship of five-year-olds for themselves. Champion was the Rhineland registered Saltes TR by Secret/De Niro (breeder: Dirk Lohmann, Schermbeck) with Juan Mauel Acosta Ponce. It was a favorites’ win, the two had been eleventh at the World Championships in Ermelo/NED. Second place went to the DWB stallion Sick-Sack with Sergio Morón Basoco. Director’s Cut by Destacado/Sandro Hit (breeder: Wilfried Immoor, Wagenfeld) and Javier Higuera Carmona took the bronze medal. The licensed stallion saw the Verden Auction arena twice: at the licensing in 2020 and one year later at the Elite Auction.
Semino SN by Scolari/Fürstenreich (breeder: Michaela Pridöhl, Grethem) took bronze in the championships for eight- and nine-year-olds with Manuel Pérez Valle. The chestnut had found his way to the Iberian Peninsula to the same stable as Milow SN via the Verden Auction in July 2019.
